Revelations in Rhythm
“Revelations in Rhythm” is an annual live performance from the Marshall L. Davis Sr. African Heritage Cultural Arts Center’s Winds of Heritage Dance Company. The production celebrates the roots of African rhythms in American tap dance and is held in honor of National Tap Dance Day.
Created, directed, and choreographed by acclaimed Broadway tap dancer and educator Marshall Davis Jr., the show blends tap, gospel, and jazz with a dynamic cast of musicians, vocalists, and dancers.
Each year, the performance also pays tribute to legendary artists such as Bill “Bojangles” Robinson and mentor Steve Condos, keeping their legacy alive while inspiring new generations of tap dancers.
