The Instrumental Start Fellowship at The Marshall L. Davis African Heritage Cultural Arts Center (DAHCAC) is a transformative opportunity designed to cultivate the next generation of musicians and music educators. Focused on empowering talented youth through access, mentorship, and excellence in music, this fellowship nurtures artistic growth and leadership from the inside out.
Fellows are selected from students attending DAHCAC’s Summer Arts Academy, highlighting the program’s role in recognizing and advancing young artists already engaged in the Center’s core programming.
