African Heritage Youth Theatre
Under the direction of Jean Hyppolite, the African Heritage Youth Theatre (AHYT!) is the premier youth theatre company dedicated to fostering the creative talents of students ages 10–17. Founded by the visionary Atim Johnson, AHYT! was established as a vibrant space where students of color could unite, learn, and flourish in the art of theatre.
Over the years, AHYT! has evolved into a respected institution under the leadership of exceptional directors, including the late Stacey Morrison, Ashlee Thomas, Jazmin Jones-Oliver, and the current director, Jean Hyppolite.
