Winds of Heritage Apprentice Program (WOH) is designed for aspiring young dancers to explore artistic development. WOHoffers pre-professional training, mentoring, workshops, field trips, personal development, and performance opportunities for students ages 7-16interested in progressing in dance. WOH dually operates as an in-house dance company and carries a legacy of developing talented young dancers since its inception in 1984. Apprentices pay an annual fee and receive discounted admission to various AHCAC programs.

The Mission of the African Heritage Cultural Arts is to provide quality training in dance, drama, instrumental music, vocal music, media, and visual arts; to develop in-house performing arts companies, to support and assist emerging artists through our resident artist program; to provide and host quality performances and exhibitions, to promote and foster the rich and diverse cultural arts perspective of the people of African Heritage. This was the original mission.
