6TH ANNUAL ART, BLUES & SOUL FESTIVAL

The African Heritage Cultural Arts Center is presenting its 6th annual Art, Blues & Soul Festival during the internationally renowned Art Basel Miami Beach weekend. On Saturday, December 3, 2022, guests will get to enjoy the rich history of the African Diaspora through the talents of local and national artists. The festival kicks off at 3:30 p.m. and goes until 9 p.m. on December 3. The Art, Blues & Soul Festival will be held at the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center, 6161 NW 22nd Avenue in Miami.
 
This year’s festival is headlined by singer and songwriter Marsha Ambrosius, formerly of the Grammy-nominated neo-soul duo, Floetry. Other featured performing acts include R&B/Soul singer and songwriter Meli’sa Morgan, R&B musical trio NEXT and legendary singer-songwriter and musician Lenny Williams. Festival-goers may enjoy culinary delights from local food vendors and other festival favorites. General Admission Tickets for the festival is $35 per person. Reserved Seating Tickets are available for $55 per person and VIP tickets which includes front row seats, reserved parking, and complimentary food and drinks are $85 per person. Early Bird Special $10 Off are available for General Admission, Reserved Seating Ticket and VIP Tickets until Sunday November 13, 2022, 11:59 PM. Platinum VIP Tickets for a total of (6) six guests include private tent, complimentary food, drinks, assorted goodie gift basket and preferred parking for $600.00.
 
In addition, the Center’s Amadlozi Gallery will present First Frequency – First People of Knowledge, an African Diaspora art exhibition showcasing the works African American and Caribbean artists. Exhibitors include Boris Anje, Precy Numbi, Sesse Elangwe, Nicole Grace, Kingtsey, Aurelia Djena, Hako Hankson and more. The First Frequency exhibition is Open to all festival-attendees. The African Heritage Cultural Arts Center will also offer its merchandise for purchase to support their Afterschool Arts Academy and Summer Arts Conservatory programs.
